Felling a large Willow tree in Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire.

This Saturday evening we were contacted regarding a potentially dangerous Willow tree. The customer was quite concerned about the tree and rightfully so! The tree had split at the base and was teetering on top of a conifer hedge and overhanging neighbouring dog kennels which housed 10 dogs.

We were on site at 7.30am the following Sunday morning ready to fell the tree. Two experienced climbers dismantled the tree and it was on the ground by 12.30pm. The customer kept all the logs and they were cut into rounds ready to be split and used for firewod.

The customers were very grateful for us coming out on a Sunday and at such short notice. However we were, in turn, extremely grateful for the bacon sandwiches and KFC provided!
